Laura Murphy is a nurse practitioner at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital Congenital Heart Clinic. She is currently working in outpatient cardiology evaluations, sports screenings, exercise stress testing and inpatient cardiology. Prior to joining pediatric cardiology, Laura spent over six years as a nurse in pediatric intensive care. In her spare time, she loves to travel and enjoys staying active by running, biking, hiking and skiing.

Personal Statement

I believe that children, parents and pediatric providers must work together as a team to provide excellent pediatric healthcare. To ensure that I am providing your children with the best care possible, it is my passion to remain current with the latest pediatric developments and approaches to children's heart health and collaborate with many specialists.

I understand just how precious each child is to his or her parents, and as such I will always provide each child and family with individualized attention and care.
