Christen M. Richardson, PA

Christen Richardson is a physician assistant at the Comprehensive Breast Care Center at the UK Markey Cancer Center. She has over a decade of experience in breast surgery; she previously worked in gynecologic oncology and interventional radiology.

Richardson treats both benign and malignant breast disease. She helps facilitate treatment of patients with breast cancer by reviewing imaging, ordering appropriate tests and biopsies, discussing surgical options for treatment, and making referrals to medical and radiation oncology. She also performs ultrasound-guided procedures in clinic for treatment of seromas and abscesses. Additionally, she is able to discuss the role of genetic testing with patients. 

Richardson earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, watching her children play sports and spending time at the pool.
