About
Before joining the University of Kentucky in the outpatient Pulmonary Clinic, I practiced in an Allergy/Asthma Center for almost 4 years. I have been an FNP since 2016, when I graduated from EKU’s MSN Rural Health FNP program with a 4.0 cumulative GPA. Prior to becoming an FNP, I worked as an RN in diverse clinical settings at Baptist Health Lexington, including Labor & Delivery/Antepartum and the Neuro ICU.
Personal Statement
I credit myself for being able to empathize with my patients and building a provider-patient relationship that is built on trust, compassion and good communication. I make sure that my patients and I are “always on the same page”, and explain things to them in a way they can understand. I chose Pulmonology because I want to make a difference in my patients day to day quality of life.
I love to travel, especially places where I can hike! I am an animal lover enthusiast and like to play sand volleyball in my spare time.
