Laura earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996 and her clinical doctorate degree in 2007 from the University of Kentucky. Her clinical experience has been in the area of neurologic and vestibular rehabilitation. Laura has been evaluating and treating vestibular and balance disorders since 1998. Since 2005, Laura has been teaching the vestibular elective for University of Kentucky’s Physical Therapy School and has coordinated the course since 2016. She has also provided lectures and training in vestibular rehabilitation for Norton’s Neuro-residency Program in Louisville, Ky, along with being a guest speaker for APTA-KY at the 2021 Annual Conference (Clinical Practice Guidelines for Vestibular Rehabilitation: BPPV, Peripheral Vestibular Hypofunction, Concussion) and for the American Osteopathic Association at OMED (Vestibular Rehabilitation’s Role in Treatment of Concussion).
