David A. Snyder, LPCC

David Snyder is a behavioral health counselor at UK HealthCare who has more than 25 years of experience in this field. He treats a variety of behavioral health conditions, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and substance use disorder.

Throughout his career, Synder has worked in several roles, including case management, psychiatric residential treatment, outpatient therapy, therapeutic foster care and substance use treatment. He has a wealth of experience working with youth and their families.

Snyder earned his bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University before going on to receive his master’s degree in education from Western Kentucky University.
