Brittany Martin is an athletic trainer in UK Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine’s outreach program. She treats all kinds of orthopaedic injuries and cares for athletes at Montgomery County High School.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and her master’s degree in athletic training at the University of Arkansas.
Personal Statement
I tore my ACL playing basketball in high school and had to have surgery. That’s when I met a physical therapist who was also certified as an athletic trainer. I became more interested in the profession and decided I wanted to pursue it in college. I really fell in love with this career path when I began to shadow D1 athletics.
My philosophy on patient care is making sure that everyone who comes to see me is treated equally and with high-quality care.
Outside of work, I love to watch and be around sports as well as explore the outdoors.
