About
Rebecca Todd earned her medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed residency training in Tampa at the University of South Florida. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Dr. Todd has experience in obstetrics including normal vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and pregnancy complications such as diabetes and high blood pressure. She is also skilled gynecologic surgery including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and open procedures. She performs hysterectomies through various approaches such as laparoscopic, vaginal, and abdominal. She offers tubal ligations at certain local hospitals.
Dr. Todd has participated in numerous research activities and presentations. She is often at local community health fairs, providing information on preventative women’s health. She has a special interest in contraception, especially long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) such as intrauterine devices (IUD) and arm implants.
