Personal Statement

I got into medicine because of wonderful people, interesting challenges and the opportunity to help people when they really need it. My philosophy on patient care is to help people have the best quality of life for the longest period of time, and I do my best to help people feel at ease with their diagnosis and treatments.

Outside of medicine I enjoy tutoring elementary school children, church choir, ceramics and music. Something interesting about me is my grandfather took the girl in American Gothic on a date when they were teenagers.
