About

Dr. Maddie Herbert is a board-certified pediatrician at UK HealthCare. She sees patients in the Pediatric BMI Clinic.

Dr. Herbert graduated from Government Medical College Thrissur in India. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health and completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Kentucky.

Personal Statement

I chose to pursue pediatrics after I discovered the joy in taking care of children and building long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I believe that every patient and family is unique and have their own individual set of healthcare needs. My goal is to provide medical care that is timely, compassionate and patient-centered. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and gardening.
