Katie Ballert received her medical degree from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine. She completed a urology residency at University of Florida, Gainesville. She then completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at New York University, School of Medicine.

Ballert specializes in female and male urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse voiding dysfunction and overactive bladder. She offers a wide range of treatment options including female and male slings, artificial urinary sphincter insertion, pessaries, transvaginal and robotic procedures, Botox injections and neuromodulation.

    Very frustrating to explain to the provider my mother had dementia and was not going to understand the proposed procedure. She kept asking if she understands what is going on - no - was not an answer the provider understood.

      Only saw Katie Ballert a few minutes. She stuck her head in told others what to do. She never talked to me she left. I've been back twice to get pessary fell out both times. Will NOT go back. Just for Dr. Ballert. Rest of staff OK.
