Personal Statement

I am committed to providing state-of-the-art compassionate care to patients living with MS and related disease states. MS is a complicated disease state which can affect many areas in a person’s life. Our goal is not just to treat the disease but treat the whole person.  The Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders program at UK HealthCare provides cutting edge medical care to adults and children with MS and neuroimmune diseases. I am involved in all aspects of MS care including direct patient care, education, and research.

      Dr. Chalkley, has always been one of the best for my care. One of the meds Dr. Chalkley prescribed me over two years ago has improved me about 95%. He gets back to me if needed even on the UK Chart I have. Dr. Chalkley, is a great dr. and very very nice. I love UK!!!

      This was my first appointment with Dr Chalkley. I have had an issue neurologically for a while now. We have eliminated any physical issues so my concerns and quality of life I felt was dependent on how this appointment Dr Chalkley went. I felt heard and am at ease that he will find the issue causing my problems. I am so happy to have him as a physician and I know he will figure it out.

      Dr. Chalkley Apologized for running a little behind, he did seem a little rushed, even opened the client door before I got to ask him about a medication change and couple questions, I understand that he is very busy and I need more test to get any definite answers. Hopefully by the next visit I will have enough test results for him to have a better idea of what I have and what to do going forward.
