Personal Statement

I made the decision to pursue dentistry in high school, where I was enrolled in a class that observed different career opportunities, including in the medical and dental fields. I have always been passionate about art and working with my hands, too. The combination of those passions – along with the service aspect of treating patients – made dentistry an appealing career.

Dentists can have an immediate impact on patient quality of life, whether that’s through eliminating pain or providing a cosmetic service, like veneers or crowns. It is always a pleasure to help a patient in whatever way I can, and I enjoy building relationships with patients and their families. I strive to provide my patients long-lasting care using evidence-based dentistry and the latest techniques.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, playing and watching sports, and doing woodworking and art projects.
