About
Christi Willen received her medical degree from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude. After an internship at Carraway Methodist Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. she completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
Dr. Willen is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has special interest in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and adult motility disorders.
