Personal Statement
I am very fortunate to practice medicine in the area where I was raised. Central Kentucky means a lot to me, and I am forever grateful that I am able to take care of the folks here.
I always knew I wanted to pursue a medical career from growing up watching my father take care of patients in rural Kentucky. I chose the field of orthopaedic surgery because I fell in love with the ability to take care of structural issues and see almost-immediate benefit in my patients' lives. During residency, I became passionate about spine surgery and the life-changing care it can provide.
