About

Julie works with the PATHways Program as a Principal Social Worker and Therapist.

She is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 15 years of work in the substance dependence field with experience in case management, individual counseling, and group education. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who can provide behavioral health services.  

She moved to Kentucky after completing her bachelor of arts in psychology at the University of Georgia to pursue a master's degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. She also completed a master of science degree in social work from the University of Louisville. She has worked at innovative programs including Chrysalis House’s Richmond Arms Program and the Narcotics Addiction Program with Bluegrass.org. She has focused her career on working with women pursuing recovery.

Personal Statement

I believe that there are many paths to recovery and that patient care should be customized to the individual’s needs. My hope is to help my patients to become the best version of themselves.

When I am outside of work I enjoy mountain and road bicycling with my husband and simply spending time with him and our pups.
