    Jennifer Young is a blessing! Both times I have seen her she did a wonderful job in explaining things to me, did not make me feel rushed, she was in tune with my concerns and emotions. The cancer word is a terrifying word and I hope Jennifer will be able to remain as a member of my care team until I no longer need her.

    Jennifer Young is very sharp, skilled and very easy to communicate with. When the ultrasound findings were processed, it turned out to be a sebaceous cyst, so that was a big relief and I received the printed details to take home on the spot. She did also examine the skin on my back because I had surgery on my left upper back in Jan. 2024 for melanoma that had 1/5 lymph nodes positive in the left armpit. She noticed something that looked a bit suspicious in that area and prepared to take a 'punch' biopsy of it, but in further discussion I explained that I had recently been seen by my dermatologist, but that info had not been forwarded to UK. So I requested the records to be sent to UK and they immediately forwarded my file there when I asked the next day (I had an appointment @ UK Fountain Court for a Coving booster and didn't get home until after dermatology office closed).

      Dr. Young said she would call me with the results but never did. I received a message from MyChart with a return appointment in 1 month.

      This was my 2nd visit with Dr. Young. She was very kind and considerate. Always made me feel at ease, explained everything well. Always called before to see if I had any follow up questions.

      This was my first appt. The provider seemed ill informed about why I was there, and began talking almost immediately about a fairly extreme treatment option in fairly good detail. It was shocking to me and I had difficulty taking in the rest of the appt.

      I have been going to UK for my mammograms for over 25 years. I have always felt well cared for. After they diagnosed my cancer I was quickly and carefully cared for again. Jennifer Young performed a drain of a seroma on my armpit. She is so lovely, we talked about basketball with her the entire time. No pain, no discomfort. UK Breast Care is the absolute VERY BEST

      Jennifer is very knowledgeable. However, it would have been better for her to sit down and talk instead of standing for the whole duration. Especially when discussing medical options like genetic testing and mastectomy. Again very knowledgeable but could be perceived as rushed.
