Mindy Kolodziejski, MS, CGC

Mindy Kolodziejski is a certified genetic counselor at UK HealthCare who provides care for both pediatric and adult patients. She offers comprehensive genetic counseling in general genetics clinics, the Differences of Sex Development (DSD) Clinic and through inpatient services.

Inspired by her personal experience with a family member’s genetic predisposition to cancer, Kolodziejski approaches each patient with empathy and a focus on individualized care. She works closely with patients and their families to translate complex genetic information into clear, meaningful guidance so that they can make informed decisions about their health.

Kolodziejski earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and her master’s degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Prior to joining UK HealthCare, she gained diverse experience in clinical genetics at Allina Health in Minnesota and in the Texas Medical Center, including roles at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Outside of work, Kolodziejski enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with friends, family and her cats.
