Mindy Kolodziejski, MS

Mindy Kolodziejski is a certified genetic counselor at UK HealthCare who cares for pediatric and adult patients. She provides comprehensive genetic counseling in general genetics clinics as well as in the Differences of Sex Development (DSD) Clinic and the Fetal Care Clinic and via inpatient service. 

Inspired by her personal experiences with a family member’s genetic predisposition to cancer, Kolodziejski approaches each patient with empathy and a commitment to personalized care. She helps families navigate complex information and make informed decisions about their health. 

Kolodziejski earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and her master’s degree from UTHealth Houston’s genetic counseling program. Before joining UK HealthCare, she gained extensive experience in genetics care, first at Allina Health in Minnesota and later at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center.

Outside of work, Kolodziejski enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with friends, loved ones, and her cats.
