About
Lara Harmon is a certified athletic trainer in UK Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine’s outreach program. She cares for athletes at Georgetown College.
An Arizona native, Harmon went to Kansas to earn her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Washburn University. While there, she also played collegiate soccer. She began her athletic training career at Central Methodist University in Missouri, where she also obtained her master’s degree in education with an emphasis in athletic administration. Following that, Harmon worked at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and Midway University in Kentucky before joining UK HealthCare as the athletic trainer for Georgetown College.
