About
Heath Crist began his education at Asbury University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2013. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University in 2016. Directly following, he completed The Johns Hopkins Hospital Orthopaedic Residency, which included extensive mentoring for complex orthopaedic patients, teaching responsibilities and research involvement. In 2020, Crist completed the Regis University Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, training under some of the top physical therapists in the country. This is considered the highest level of training internationally for manual physical therapists. He is board-certified in orthopaedics and is a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coach. He is a former high school track and field coach and specialized in training hurdlers and sprinters. He is certified in functional dry needling and functional movement taping. His clinical interests include running injuries and management of the spine.
