About
Diane Zashin is a certified athletic trainer in UK Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine’s outreach program. She cares for athletes at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Beaumont Middle School and Leestown Middle School.
An Arizona native, Zashin earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Arkansas. While studying in Arkansas, she worked in Division 1 collegiate athletics, a secondary school setting and an out-patient clinic.
After receiving her athletic training certification, she came to UK to be an athletic training fellow for the tennis and cheer teams.
