About

Courtney Mason is an outpatient physical therapist at UK HealthCare who is an expert in musculoskeletal health. She treats chronic pain, nerve pain, the intersection of chronic illness and physical disability, and joint hypermobility.

Mason received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University before going on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She then completed her residency in orthopaedics at Mercer University.

Mason is a presenting clinician at national physical therapy conferences and aims to progress the profession’s postdoctoral education. She is also interested in improving patient access to therapy services and promoting preclinical physical therapy student education.

In addition to her clinical practice, Mason is proud to serve as an inaugural faculty member in the UK Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program.
