Diabetes among kids is rising. Here’s what you should know.

Type 2 diabetes has previously only been thought of as an adult condition, but recently it has become much more common in children due to the obesity epidemic.

In this week's episode of UK HealthCast, Laura Hieronymus, DNP, MSEd, RN, of the UK Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center discusses why Type 2 diabetes in children is on the rise and what symptoms you should watch out for.
