Personal Statement

I'm passionate about what I do primarily because I like the interaction with kids and their families. I treat patients of all ages, including newborns. We have a unique opportunity at these facilities, both UK HealthCare and Shriner's Hospital, to take care of patients who have unique problems that typically aren’t seen in more general settings.

Patients come to us with serious problems looking for answers that are not so easy to find. The challenge for me, and our whole team, is to develop a treatment plan for these patients and their families that will help them get the best outcome for whatever condition they have.
