Primary Care Pediatrics

Pediatricians are experts in caring for children. They manage all aspects of a child’s health and development. At Golisano Children's at UK, our pediatric primary care clinics feature care teams led by pediatricians. Our doctors work with children from birth through their teen years. They build lasting relationships with families and become experts in your child’s health.

The care we provide includes:

• Treating acute illness, such as a fever or sore throat
• Well child visits (vaccine recommendations, typical development, sleep questions, etc.) 
• Helping patients and their families manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes
• Mental health counseling, scheduled to address issues such as anxiety, mood changes, behavioral difficulties and social challenges
• Referring your child to a specialist when needed
