About Endoscopy Center
All patients, visitors, staff and vendors entering UK Good Samaritan Hospital and the UK Good Samaritan Medical Office Building must pass through weapons-detection screening when entering. Screening occurs at these four entrances:
- Entrance A and the Emergency Department patient entrance, open 24/7
- Entrance B, open Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (not including holidays)
- The Medical Office Building entrance (125 E. Maxwell St.), open:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (not including holidays)
- Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (not including holidays)
Getting to Good Samaritan Endoscopy
Step 1: Park.
- Park in the Good Samaritan Hospital Parking Garage, 310 South Limestone.
- You may also be dropped off at Entrance A of Good Samaritan Hospital.
Step 2: Make your way to the ground floor Information Desk at Entrance A.
Upon entering Good Samaritan Hospital, please check in with our Information Desk. Here, we will verify your appointment and let our registration team know you have arrived.
Step 3: Register.
After you check in with the Information Desk, a representative from our team will meet you in the Entrance A lobby to get you registered.
Step 4: Make your way to Good Samaritan Endoscopy on the 2nd floor of the hospital.
- Take the stairs or the main elevators to the 2nd floor.
- Turn right and walk down the long hallway toward the Endoscopy registration desk.
Step 5: Check in at the Endoscopy waiting room front desk.
- A clerk will greet you and check you in.
- This area is also the waiting room for friends and family.
- The clerk will explain how and when updates will be given.
