Susan Griffith is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Kentucky and a graduate of the UK College of Medicine, where she completed her residency in family practice and was chief resident. She is board certified in family practice.

Prior to working at University Health Service, Dr. Griffith was clinic director at UK's Family Medical Center. She joined University Health Service in 1992 and serves as chairman of the UHS QA/QI Committee. Her special clinical interest is dermatology.

    The session seemed rushed. I scheduled the appointment and received a confirmation email that it would be 40 minutes in length, however it was only 20 minutes. The provider kept repeating herself which took up some time and I wasn't able to express all my concerns or questions.

    It would be better if I can get more concrete and detailed directions and some additional information such as the reason for this health issue and the things that I should be careful on. Precious visits were more helpful in that the doctors gave me written notes about my health issue.

    Dr. Griffith was great! I think she cared more about what was going on w/me than I did. She made me aware of how I could contact her, should I need to very positive experience which I appreciated.

    Provider asked if I preferred to test right in the clinic or take an at-home test, and when I said I'd prefer an at-home test, disregarded my preference and had me test at the clinic.

      Said she doubts I have a cold since that's more of a winter thing. I felt very dismissed and not heard. I was around a co worker that had strep throat and I was around my grandparents who genuinely had a cold when I was back home so the bug got passed down to me, so to hear I'm not actually sick when I know for a fact this isn't normal for my body is hurtful.

      She was one of the best care provider I have been, she sowed interest and listen to my concerns. Suggested follow-up appointment which was necessary and always kind to any new comments and concerns.
