She was so helpful and really cared about getting me what I needed for my upcoming trip abroad.

Very dismissive of my concerns and refused to do the flu or COVID-19 tests. I told her that I've had a chronic earache on and off for three months and she said my ears were fine. She then mentioned my weight and sent me home with a BMI packet, even though my visit did not pertain to my weight. Finally, after being in the room for two minutes she sent me on my way and insinuated that I was not actually sick and just wanted a free day out of class. The nursing student that saw me first was lovely and did take my concerns seriously. I was not asked if being seen by a student was okay, but at least she was the highlight of my experience.

Medical provider did not give the opportunity to ask any questions. Their explanations were limited due to them not taking the time to elaborate. It felt like the provider picked the diagnosis without having all the information/ test results and before specimen was collected to test. Provider did not explain what other tests would be completed.

She did a good job on telling me the next step after the phone call. But, she told me to schedule a next appointment do get tested on and I had no idea how to do it. Tried calling the number she gave me and they told me that she should've set up the appointment for me

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Bennett to anyone. She was very rude, short, and I honestly do not understand why she's even a doctor. Most doctors I've interacted with are caring and compassionate and empathetic. She was none of the three. She didn't seem interested in helping making me feel better. I am still sick by the way, but I will most likely be going elsewhere because of my experience with Dr. Bennett.

I would like to have heard more personalized advice and be directed to resources available at UK to assist me in trying to "eat healthy, exercise, minimize stress." I feel like my concerns were handled in a generic way that did not involve a lot of concern. I was already hesitant about meeting with someone for my concerns because I figured the attitude would be "nothing is critically wrong so you're fine." Now I have to consult the internet and people who have the same condition as me so that I can get the support I need in taking my health seriously.

The provider listened to my problem carefully, asked detailed questions, examined me, and then explained the solution to the problem carefully to make sure I understand what was going to happen.
