Kim Bennett has an ADN in nursing from Midway College, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky, and a BSN and MSN from Eastern Kentucky University. While attending Eastern Kentucky University, she received the Faculty Recognition Award. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She received training as a family nurse practitioner from the University of North Dakota and Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to being a certified family nurse practitioner, she is also a sexual assault nurse examiner. Prior to joining University Health Service in 1994, she was manager of Urgent Treatment Center in Lexington.

    My experience with Kimberly Bennett was truly amazing in every way. I have been nervous going to doctors in the past, but she made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I felt like I was actually able to speak openly about what I was going through, which meant that I was actually able to fully explain my symptoms and concerns. She was very present and attentive during our appointment and I believe that she was truly listening to me and trying to ensure she was fully informed of my concerns. I felt as though I was an active participant in the evaluation and treatment process, rather than just another patient. It was an amazing experience with Kimberly Bennett and I am very grateful for her and the dedication she showed to me during my visit. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

    I've seen Kim Bennett many times over the years that I've been a student and I have to say that she is by far the best care provider I have ever encountered. I always schedule my appointments with her, because I trust her more than anyone. She always listens to everything I have to share, asks me questions to better understand my concerns, provides the best options for care, and works with me to help me understand my options. She has never made me feel like just another patient. Kim is absolutely spectacular in what she does. I recommend her to anyone I know that is in need of care.

      I have seen Kimberly throughout the 5 years I have been here on campus. She is ALWAYS so kind, understanding, and helpful to me. I always feel safe, heard, and understood by her every single visit. There is no other doctor I would want to see for women's health.

      Ms. Kimberly Bennett was extremely helpful and empathetic. She carefully listened to all my concerns, explained any vaccines or other tests that I needed done, and even went out of her way to contact someone in the sleeping center to get me connected to obtain a cpap after being diagnosed with sleep apnea.

      Dr. Bennett is the best doctor that I have seen in a long time if not ever. Coming from someone who goes to the doctor multiple times a month, she is always so fun to talk to and truly shows care for all her patients.       I really love seeing Dr bennett. I am a junior and have gotten to experience many Drs here and uk health and she is by far my favorite. She always makes me feel comfortable and seen and explains everything in way that calms my nerves. I recommend her to all my friends if they ever need to come too

      She told me she didn't know what was wrong and did not even bother to show any concern or search for an answer. It was a very bad experience since my primary care provider in my home state always referred to her medical textbooks or asked me more questions about my health to make sure she exhausted all possible care options. My visit here was not comprehensive in the slightest. I did not learn anything about my condition or resources available to me.
