About

Nimisha Bhatia is a pelvic health and spine physical therapist at UK HealthCare and Good Samaritan Hospital. She specializes in conditions such as urinary and fecal incontinence, post-partum rehabilitation, pelvic and perineal pain, urinary urgency and frequency, chronic constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, and mechanical low back and neck pain.

Bhatia completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physiotherapy in India. She worked as a spine specialist in India for five years before moving to the United States.

Personal Statement

I chose to become a pelvic health physical therapist because I myself suffered from post-partum pelvic health problems after becoming a mother. Due to my expertise, I was able to diagnose and resolve my symptoms, but most people who experience these issues don’t know how important it is to address them.

My goal is to help as many people as possible who are suffering from pelvic floor problems so that they can lead a life with improved function and confidence.
