About
Beth A. Miller received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wright State University, her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and completed an internship and residency at Kettering Medical Center. She went on to complete a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Miller is active both clinically and academically, having published articles in the American Journal of Medical Genetics and Thymus and Immunological Investigations. Her current clinical research trials focus on the treatment for severe Asthma by utilizing monoclonal antibody therapy against cytokines that promote asthma.
Dr. Miller is board certified in Allergy and Immunology and Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), the Southeastern Society of Allergy, the Kentucky Society of Allergy/Immunology, and the Blue Grass Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She has served as a Past-President of the Blue Grass Society of Allergy/Immunology and as an executive committee member of the Kentucky Allergy Society.
Dr. Miller's philanthropic interests include the American Lung Association and UK Women & Philanthropy. She has held a seat on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Office of the American Lung Association and is a current committee co-chair of UK Women and Philanthropy. In the fall of 2012 she was recognized as the Lung Health Champion for the American Lung Association in Kentucky.
