About
Kayla Fonken earned her master's degree in athletic training from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2018. She is pursuing her master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from the University of Kentucky. Kayla joined the UK Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine team in January 2024. She is experienced in treating middle and high school athletes along with Division 1 & 2 NCAA athletes, and she has training in emergency medical services.
