Christine (Chrissie) S. Adams, APRN, CNM

Chrissie Adams joined the UK Midwife Clinic first as a patient, then as a student and now as a board-certified nurse midwife. She completed her undergraduate studies at Transylvania University in 2009, followed by a bachelor’s and master’s in nursing from the University of Cincinnati, where she specialized in nurse midwifery. Additionally, Adams has experience as both an ICU and labor and delivery nurse.

Adams hopes to empower, educate and support women and their families, and she believes wholeheartedly that low-risk pregnancy and birth are normal, physiological parts of a woman’s life story.

When out of the office, Adams enjoys the company of friends and family, traveling to Florida and Colorado, and the spending time outdoors. Her husband, Lisle, and yellow Labrador, Chip, are among her biggest supporters, and they are excited to welcome a baby boy to the family this spring.
