Provider included me in decision making but I was surprised by her recommendation to increase prescription dosage so soon after beginning the medication.

Used her phone to quote information about my issue. Had to tell her that I know my body and we were finally on the same page. She initially did not want to prescribe an antibiotic but within 24 hours of taking antibiotics I felt much better

Had same attitude towards me as the nurse. Reiterated to me about diabetes test being to early. Asked me if I had any other concerns or issues. Told her I was having burning stabbing pain in both feet around toes and ball, causing pain when I walked. She had herself in back left corner room, did not make any effort to come close to me to try feeling or moving toes to see if she could find anything unusable. She asked me if I wanted to have an X-ray. She is the medical professional so why was she asking me if I thought I needed one, so I said no. Then when she asked if there was anything else, I mentioned an incident I had that scared me I my being showing early sign of dementia-Alzheimer's. I explained that my family members have had this illness. She told me that it could just be brain fog and if I have more episodes just keep track of them. Wow, nothing like making me feel like an overly hypochondriac person. Then I was told to checkout and find out at that time I need to schedule a follow up appointment, why, for what? I did and then canceled it as the date got closer. -

She was clearly reading my file for the first time when she finally joined the call. I had to give her the info on all the previous tests and treatments I have already been thru and the visit was a complete waste of time.

It took me over two months to get seen by NP Andrea, but it was worth the wait. NP Andrea listened to all of my problems then helped me. I only had to bring up my hemorrhoids and kidneys once and NP Andrea understood.

Andrea was very concerned about how I was feeling that day, especially the state of my thyroid. She ordered extra testing to make sure my thyroid was working as it should. I appreciated her thoroughness, because I'm still having issues with it and she's been good at contacting me back via voicemails and MyChart.
