Diversity, equity & inclusion employee resources
Diversity, equity and inclusion efforts are most impactful when everyone is engaged in creating space for connection and belonging.
To foster a community of acceptance at UK HealthCare, we offer a variety of resources for our employees.
This platform was designed to discuss social matters and critical events in a safe space. Topics have included police brutality, microaggressions and how we celebrate our differences.
The goal of the Equity Ambassadors program is to train our staff to be diversity champions who advocate for all people and patients. Through this program, UK HealthCare employees can become part of the work to move our DEI Strategic Plan forward.
Equity Ambassadors exist as a bridge among departments, the Enterprise DEI Council and organizational leadership. To learn more about this program please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Inclusive Care is a new service available through all UK health plans with the goal of facilitating access to basic and specialized physical and mental health care. It also helps individuals understand how medical policy and necessity apply within the provisions and coverages of our health plans.
This service is free to all UK health plan members. You can access information about this service in the following ways:
- Call the member services number on the back of your insurance ID card.
- Register for/log in to your member account at Anthem.com.
- Download the Sydney Health mobile app (provided by Anthem).
Lunch, Listen & Learn (L3) Series
We offer this series on a quarterly basis. It provides an intimate group setting for various UK HealthCare affinity groups to connect with the executive leadership team. This is also another opportunity for employees to become part of the work to move UK HealthCare’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan forward.
