My career in nursing began 16 years ago in the emergency department. Since that time, I moved into a leadership role, while advancing my career into becoming a nurse practitioner.

Personal Statement

I chose hospital medicine because I really like the aspect of taking care of patients from varied backgrounds with complex problems. I believe all patients are entitled to the best medical care available. I believe patients should choose UK Healthcare because they are so innovative in their identifying a disease process and how they deliver treatment to the patient.

My hobbies include spending time with my child, kayaking, hiking, and spending days at the lake.
