Tami Ross is an internationally recognized diabetes care and education specialist, dietitian, speaker, spokesperson, and health and nutrition writer with over 25 years experience. She has counseled individuals seeking diabetes and nutrition guidance for over 25 years. Tami has co-authored 11 books and has written more than 100 articles for professional and consumer publications. She is a frequent presenter for meetings of professional and community organizations. She served as 2013 President of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (now Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists). Tami has participated in multiple satellite and radio media tours, as well as radio and television programming to share diabetes-related information. She has been featured in USA TODAY and on CBN.

Personal Statement

My passion is translating science into practice - in order to provide education and self-management guidance that is realistic and do-able. My desire is to step alongside my patients as a think partner, to focus on what's important to them, what's going well, and to build upon that to reach their health goals and help live life to the fullest. I am an advocate for person-centered care and believe that self-compassion is essential when living with a chronic condition.
