About

Shelley obtained her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science from the University of Kentucky in 2009, and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2012. She previously worked as a student athletic trainer while completing her undergraduate degree and her experience as a physical therapist has focused on upper and lower extremity orthopaedic injuries. Her additional training includes courses focusing on upper extremity injuries/rehabilitation in athletes, McKenzie Method of Diagnosis & Therapy, Mulligan Concept, kinesiology taping, and wrist/hand splinting and rehabilitation. Shelley is also an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, and enjoys supervising students of all levels that are interested in pursuing physical therapy as a career.
