About

When I was in high school, I played on the high school basketball team. A teammate tore her ACL and was rehabbed by the team trainer, who was also a physical therapist. This initially sparked my interest in physical therapy. When in PT school, I realized my interest in spinal cord injury rehab. This eventually led to my interest in wheelchair seating and mobility. I believe that patients can tell us a lot about themselves. Most of the patients I work with are dealing with a neurological injury, either from birth or acquired after. My goal as a therapist is to listen to their wants and needs, and to help them achieve their goals. One of the most interesting facts about me is that I am an identical twin, and she is also a physical therapist.
