Bree West is a Kentucky licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and member of Brain Injury Alliance of Central Kentucky, serving those affected by brain injuries through outreach and advocacy. She specializes in treatment of stroke, brain injury, concussion (mTBI), and dysphagia to develop a treatment plan that is both patient-centered and evidence-based.

Bree earned her B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She also spent much of her time studying American Sign Language and attending Deaf events, which ultimately lead her to minoring in Sign Language Interpreting. After completing her undergraduate degree, Bree earned her master’s degree in Communication Disorders at University of Texas at Dallas. After completing her education, she decided to move to Lexington, Kentucky to join her parents. In her spare time, Bree enjoys spending time with her husband, needy cat named Layla, and mischievous golden retriever named Lola.
