Andrew Habash, PT, DPT, CSCS, Cert DN, CES, SFMA, CKTP, SEMR

Andrew Habash is a sports physical therapist at UK HealthCare who has more than 15 years of experience in orthopaedics and sports rehabilitation. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and holds advanced certifications in dry needling, corrective exercise, Kinesio taping, blood flow restriction rehabilitation and manual cupping.

Habash serves as the supervisor of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, overseeing both the Kentucky Clinic and Good Samaritan rehabilitation offices. He manages a team of over 20 staff members while continuing to treat patients, with a special focus on athletes and active individuals.

He earned his master’s and transitional doctorate degrees in physical therapy from Saint Louis University.

Habash’s career spans both amateur and professional athletics. He served as the physical therapist for the Cincinnati Reds and the head physical therapist for Stewart-Haas Racing in NASCAR. He has also provided physical therapy consultation for multiple amateur sports organizations nationwide. Plus, he has supported athletes through volunteer service with the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, USA Gymnastics, USA Archery, USA Weightlifting, USA Curling and USA Tennis.

In addition to his clinical practice, Habash has taught as adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati and the University of South Carolina, helping to mentor the next generation of physical therapists. 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, maintaining an active lifestyle and earning a degree in Spanish from UK.
