      Was perhaps a little too direct about the risks of a food challenge with the children in the room. Hearing the details of anaphylaxis did not help my child relax for the challenge and contributed to her distress. The risks were well known ahead of time and also very minimal. Either communicate this differently, to the parents only, or emphasize how very unlikely those negative outcomes are.

      Dr. Deniskin was extremely knowledgeable, concerned and kind. He took extra time to explain the diagnosis and supporting information. He listened very patiently to my 14 year old giving his own health history and asked very good questions in follow up. He made sure our son was part of the conversation and answered all questions. He is very invested in patient education and collaboration - an ideal doctor in partnership for health!

      Dr. Deniskin is easily the best medical provider I have ever seen. He was kind, compassionate, thorough, and personable. He took his time (about an hour) and didn't make me feel rushed. Too often providers rush in and out before I can remember everything I wanted to tell them. He did the opposite and made sure to give me time to think and make sure I told him everything.He explained things in a way that anyone could understand. He wasn't sure if the reason I was referred to him was in his scope, but insisted that he would do what he could to help and try to get me some answers. I am very grateful I was referred to him.

      Dr. Deniskin was thorough when discussing the procedures and issues associated with pistachio and cashew allergies. He was extremely kind to myself and my son, and encouraged him to continue the challenge study even though he didn't want to, which turned out to be successful. The nursing staff was also very encouraging and helpful.

      Dr. Deniskin is by far the best specialist I have ever seen. We have been to many hospitals, including Mayo in Rochester and Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Deniskin is extremely intelligent, yet does not speak over my level of understanding or below it. He truly feels like family. After twenty years of chronic illness, we finally found out the underlying cause in May of 2022, thanks to persistence by Dr. Deniskin.
