Dr. Sravanthi Nandavaram is the medical director of the Lung Transplantation Program at UK HealthCare. She is a specialist in lung transplant, ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and critical care medicine.

Dr. Nandavaram earned her medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India. She completed an internal medicine residency followed by a fellowship in pulmonary critical care medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in New York. Dr. Nandavaram pursued another year of advanced fellowship in lung transplant, ECMO and advanced lung disease at University of Florida.

Personal Statement

Dr. Nandavaram finds the utmost satisfaction and ultimate honor in taking care of the end stage or progressive lung disease patients and their families by taking away the inevitable and offering them the hope of survival and a better quality of life via lung transplant. Her goal is to achieve excellent outcomes with the shortest waitlist times.

Outside medicine, she enjoys traveling, long road trips and loves spending time with family and friends.
