About

Dr. Gopalkumar Rakesh has expertise in non-invasive brain stimulation. He trained at National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore which is at the forefront of biological psychiatry research in India. Following this, he transitioned to Duke University Medical Center where he completed his psychiatry residency and a neuroimaging fellowship at the VA. He spearheads a multidisciplinary research endeavor to examine brain stimulation paradigms with biomarker correlates in substance use disorders.
