Linda K. Katz received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor. After finishing an internship in internal medicine, she completed an ophthalmology residency at the renowned University of Michigan, Kellogg Eye Center. She served as Chief Resident of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan.

She is a board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. She practiced ophthalmology in the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 1999. She founded the Jessamine Eye Center in Nicholasville, Ky. in 2002, joined the faculty of the University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology in 2011 and currently practice at the UK HealthCare Jessamine Eye Center.

      Dr. Katz was excellent. The only thing is I thought my prescription was for glasses and contacts both. I did not understand it was only for glasses. I think that there should be glasses at the facility for you to choose from if the patient wanted to.
