    My first visit with Dr. Marcum. I had been a previous patient of Dr. Shaw. I really liked Dr Marcum and he was very thorough and gave me all the options , spelling out what he felt like would be best for me. I trust him completely.

    Was late getting to room. First visit as my pcp didn't ask anything other then who my previous pcp was which he read previous clinic note from. He was in a hurry to conclude our visit. I had to ask for an exam order and a consult for another dept bc he didn't ask any questions. Even after asking for the orders and referral he didn't ask why just put them in and said someone would reach out to schedule. Is this what I should expect from my DO pcp everything I come in, pate with no reason and fast to get me out asking no questions about my health or possible concerns?

      I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Marcum! I came into my appointment limping and in terrible pain. After spending time truly listening and using incredibly effective, customized techniques, I walked out pain-free and with normal mobility again.Dr. Marcum's whole-person, compassionate approach to treatment stands out and is as good at Dr. Peterson! He didn't just look at my obvious symptoms, but took the time to understand root causes and my full medical history.       The doctor respected the fact that I had personal issues to discuss with him and I wouldn't like to talk to a nurse or a trainee. (Which wouldn't have bothered me if the issue wasn't as personal.)

      Dr marcum didn't listen to a thing I said. And the med student with him assumed my chest pain was just from anxiety. I have a rare case but that doesn't mean I shouldn't get the help I need. The doctor was dismissive of what I said and was not patient with me as I communicated with him. He did not explain things in any way I could understand clearly but proceeded to basically tell me how I felt even though he was way off. He didn't seem concerned or even care I was feeling miserable.
