Learning to control diabetes now, through knowledge and self-awareness, allows you to change your behaviors, improve your quality of life and reduce your risk of diabetes-related complications. You are not alone

Each year, the staff at UK Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center, located in a 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility at UK HealthCare – Turfland, provides guidance to 7,500 adults and 2,500 children with diabetes and diabetes-related conditions. Our team of diabetes experts works closely with area primary care providers, offering support and assistance to patients on an as-needed basis. Those who need more intense care, including patients with Type 1 diabetes, insulin pumps and those whose diabetes is more difficult to control, may receive regular, in-depth care at UK Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center.
