The Digital & Brand Strategy Department promotes the UK HealthCare brand through communication channels, including web site design, graphics, print advertisements and written publications.
Our award-winning team includes graphic designers, writers and editors, digital marketing, and support staff. Our creative services are available at no charge to UK HealthCare clinical departments, however, there may be charges for printing, photography and film production. The service line marketing team works with key leaders within the enterprise to develop and execute marketing plans that support the goals of the UK HealthCare strategic plan. They also work with external stakeholders and partners to define and manage objectives for strategic outreach initiatives. Work is done in collaboration with public relations, fund development and the physician liaison and community engagement programs.
All UK HealthCare athletic-related relationships, including UK Athletics, are managed by service line marketing.

Physician Liaisons are available to meet with physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants and their office staff throughout the region to discuss referrals to UK HealthCare faculty.
The liaisons are also available to:
- Arrange for CME programs given by UK faculty at your facility or hospital
- Come to your office or hospital to discuss services offered by our clinical faculty
- Demonstrate our secure web portal for referring physicians
- Assist you with access, communication and service concerns

Jason Britt is Senior Service Line Manager for the Gill Heart Institute and is also the Director of Market Research for UK HealthCare. Jason oversees all marketing research activities to understand awareness and perceptions of the UK HealthCare brand. He conducts focus groups, generates surveys and monitors the success of marketing initiatives to ensure UK HealthCare's communication effectiveness. Jason is an an internal resource for any marketing research related inquiries. He also serves as a consultant for other departments within the University of Kentucky to aid them in achieving their research goals.
Jason has served in similar roles at Tempur-Pedic International, Inc. in Lexington and at Aon Corporation in Chicago. Additionally, he has served as adjunct faculty, teaching economics at Sullivan University. Jason has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
UK HealthCare's community engagement program maintains mutually beneficial relationships with and is a major contributor to more than 200 local, state and national organizations dedicated to improving the health and well-being of countless citizens in our city, state and beyond.
In addition to financial support, UK HealthCare's community engagement program provides accurate and reliable health information and education, health screenings and risk assessments, along with an extensive lineup of expert physician and other clinical speakers.
