    Dr. Chambers listened carefully, explained things simply and to the point, was very open minded, and took all of my thoughts and feelings into account. I felt very comfortable with her. I trusted her implicitly even though this was the first time I had met her. Her empathy shone through wonderfully. She came across as knowledgeable and kind. I look forward to my next visit with her.

      Radiation therapy hadn't been consulted for a recommendation about potential treatment. There was little discussion about whether surgery was an option, or at what point it would be. My expectations going in were that my case would have been reviewed by the Tumor Board. There was a dramatic and unexpected change from thinking the cancer was gone to having metastasized to my chest and liver. The lack of a review by the Tumor Board is troubling and disappointing. As far as I know, a patient advocate hasn't been involved. That would have been appropriate given the dramatic change in the cancer.

      Dr. Chambers was super in discussing the appropriate treatments, reasoning, side effect, and making me to be at ease in my care. The steps of treatment regimen was the one that I had to fight to get it done with the other provider such as doing bone density before hormone therapy.

      This was the first time I met Dr. Chambers but she has been on my cancer team from the beginning. She answered my questions and concerns. She explained the next steps and made sure I understood the side effects on my new medication. She like all of the staff was friendly, compassionate, and professional. She helped make this experience less scary. Very appreciative of her.
