2018 Rising Star Award
Kentucky’s #1 hospital keeps getting even better
UK HealthCare has received this year’s Rising Star Award from Vizient, the nation’s largest healthcare performance-improvement company.
The Rising Star Award recognizes academic medical centers that have made significant improvements in their year-over-year rankings in Vizient's annual Quality and Accountability Study, which identifies exemplary performance in safety, mortality, clinical effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness and equity of care.
It’s just one more sign that we are constantly improving the care we deliver and the service we provide to our patients and their families. Because what we do is not really about statistics and awards. It’s about lives saved and lives made better through expert knowledge, leading-edge skill and evidence-based treatments.
We're already bringing world-class care to all the people of the Commonwealth, and we just keep getting better.
That’s the Power of Advanced Medicine.
