Bush is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology both in Otolaryngology and in Neurotology and Cranial Base Surgery. Bush is actively engaged in clinical research with a special focus on hearing healthcare disparities. He has published multiple peer-reviewed papers on the topic and is supported by the National Institutes of Health. His research and clinical efforts are focused on providing timely access to care for children and adults.
One concern with a child who is born with hearing loss is that we learn to speak based on what we hear. The thought of living your life, or as a parent, maybe living your life without your child saying "I love you" or "I do" or some of those really important phrases is tough. This makes it really critical to identify pediatric hearing loss in a timely manner and intervene in an appropriate way.
