Nasal and Sinus Cancer Support Services
We’re committed to supporting you throughout your treatment journey. We have an entire team of experienced providers who work with head and neck cancer patients every day. Our support services include:
Nutrition Support: Nasal and sinus cancer and the treatment for it can make it hard to swallow. Our dietitians can help you manage this with a special diet or short-term feeding tube.
Speech and Swallowing Support: Nasal and sinus cancer may affect your ability to swallow and speak. Our team includes speech therapists who can help you learn techniques to make swallowing easier. We also have physical therapists who can help you manage pain and regain muscle strength in your mouth and throat after treatment.
Help with Symptoms: Our palliative care team helps patients cope with the side effects and symptoms of cancer treatment.
Resources: Our social workers help patients and families navigate the healthcare system. They can help with financial aid, including housing and transportation.
Counseling: If you or a loved one needs someone to talk to, our chaplains and cancer counselors are ready to help. They listen and provide comfort and reassurance during difficult times.
Emotional Support: If you need someone to talk to, our psycho-oncologists and chaplains are ready to listen and offer support. They have helped many cancer patients and families process feelings and cope with struggles during treatment.
